The app stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Practice session history (stored on device only)
  • Smile detection results (stored on device only)
  • App settings and preferences (stored on device only)
  • Purchase status (managed by Apple's App Store)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

4. Camera Access

CheerLens requires camera access to analyze your facial expressions. All camera processing is done in real-time on your device. No images or video are stored, recorded, or transmitted.

5. Internet Connection

CheerLens works completely offline. No internet connection is required for core functionality. The only time an internet connection is used is for:

  • In-app purchases (processed by Apple's App Store)
  • Optional feedback submission (if you choose to send feedback)

6. In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple handles all payment processing according to their privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy

CheerLens does not knowingly collect information from children. Since we do not collect any data, there is no risk of collecting children's information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
